These terms are the agreement between you and PEXLUMI when you use pexlumi.com, sign in with your Pexlumi account, or order an invitation or a custom song from us. Please read them with our Refund and Returns Policy, which covers paying, changes and cancellations, and our Privacy policy, which covers your personal data. By sending us your details or placing an order you agree to these terms.

- Your photos stay yoursWe use your names, photos and wording only to make and show your invitation.
- The design is oursYou may use your invitation for your own event; please do not copy or resell the design.

- Account is optionalYou can always order without one, and delete it any time.
- Fair to youNothing here takes away your rights under Indian consumer law.
Who we are
PEXLUMI (“we”, “us”) makes digital invitations, mainly animated invitation websites for Indian weddings, and custom songs for weddings and other celebrations, and runs pexlumi.com. What we make
Each invitation is made for you from a design you choose on our website, with your names, dates, venues, photos and wording. It is delivered as a link (for an invitation website) or a file (for a video or card), usually on WhatsApp. Nothing is shipped.
The designs and demos on our website are samples. They show the style, motion and layout; your invitation follows the same design with your own details, so photos, text length and the number of functions can make it look a little different. Samples carry a watermark and are only for looking at.
We also make custom songs: a new song for one occasion, with the names, story and lyrics you send us. How they are made and how you may use them is in Custom songs below.
How ordering works
- You send your details with the “Your details” form on a design, or on WhatsApp. Sending details is not yet an order and costs nothing.
- We share the price on WhatsApp: the full price, what is included and when you will get it.
- You confirm and pay the advance. Your order starts when we confirm your advance payment. How paying, changes, cancellations and refunds work is set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.
- We make a preview for you to check. Changes are included as the refund policy describes.
- You approve it, pay the rest, and it goes live. We share the final link or file.
The delivery date we agree depends on having your details and photos in time. If something we need arrives late, we will tell you the new date. We may decline an order, before you pay, if we cannot make it well or in time.
Your Pexlumi account
An account is optional. If you choose “Continue with Google”, we create a Pexlumi account with your name, email address and profile picture from Google, so you can see your invitations, how far along they are, and finish your details any time. Your use of Google sign-in is also covered by Google’s own terms. We never see your Google password.
Please keep your Google account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can see and change your invitation details. You can delete your Pexlumi account at any time from My account → My invitations → Delete my account. We may close an account that is used to misuse the website or to impersonate someone else.
What you send us
- Correct details: please check names, dates, times and venues. We use them exactly as you send them and show you a preview before anything goes live.
- Your right to use them: send only photos and wording that you took, own or have permission to use, and make sure the people named or shown are happy to appear on your invitation.
- Lyrics: send only lyrics you wrote yourself or have permission to use. We do not copy the words or tunes of film songs or other artists’ songs into a custom song.
- Music: if you ask for a particular song, we use it only as background music on your invitation. If its rights holder objects, we replace it with music that is free to use.
- Nothing unlawful: we will not publish content that is unlawful, hateful, obscene or that breaks someone else’s rights, and we may remove it if it is added later.
Who owns what
Your content stays yours. Your names, photos and wording belong to you (or to the people who gave them to you). You allow us to use them only to make, preview, publish and fix your invitation, and to keep it online for 3 months or the longer time agreed. We will not show your invitation as a sample on our website or social media without asking you first.
The design is ours. The designs, artwork, animations, code and the PEXLUMI name and logo belong to PEXLUMI or to the artists we license them from. When you have paid in full, you may use and share your invitation for your own event as much as you like. Please do not copy the design, reuse it for another event, sell it, or remove our watermark from samples.
Your invitation online
An invitation website is a web page that anyone with its link can open. We ask search engines not to list it, and we do not link to it from our website, so please share the link only with people you want to invite.
How long it stays online: 3 months from the day it goes live. So that your guests can open it right up to your wedding, plan for your last function to be no more than 3 months after the day it goes live. If you would like it online for longer (to send it out earlier, or to keep it up after the wedding), there is an extra charge: message us on WhatsApp and we agree the price before anything changes. You can ask us to take it down earlier at any time, and we take it down within 3 days.
We work to keep invitations online and quick, but the internet is not perfect: an invitation can be briefly unavailable while our hosting is being maintained, or look different on a very old phone or browser. If something on your invitation stops working, tell us and we fix it free.
Custom songs
What you get. A new song made for your occasion, up to about 4 minutes long, in Hindi, English or a mix of both, with the names and details you send. We make songs with AI music tools that we hold commercial licences for, and we write the lyrics unless you send your own. The samples on our website are short examples of the style; every song is different.
- You send the song form on our Songs page, for one song or several. You get a request number, and one tap sends it to us on WhatsApp. Sending a request is not yet an order and costs nothing.
- We confirm the details and the price on WhatsApp (or that your song is free under an offer), and tell you when your preview will be ready.
- We send a preview for you to hear. Changes are included as our Refund and Returns Policy describes.
- You approve it and pay half, we send the final song as an MP3 file on WhatsApp, and you pay the rest. How paying works is in the Refund and Returns Policy.
How you may use your song. Once it is paid for (or given free under an offer), you may play your song at your own events, share it with family and friends, post it on your own social media (for example in a reel or a WhatsApp status), and use it as the music of your PEXLUMI invitation. Please do not sell it, put it on music streaming services such as Spotify or YouTube Music, or register it with a copyright or content-claim system.
Social media apps check music automatically and can, now and then, flag a song by mistake. If that happens to your song, tell us and we will help, but we cannot control what those apps decide. We will not use your song, or the names in it, as a sample without asking you first.
Festive season offer. When you order a wedding invitation website from us while the offer runs, you can have one custom song (worth ₹500) free. It is your choice: tick the offer box in the song form if you want it, and nothing changes if you do not. The offer covers one song per invitation order, starts once your invitation order is confirmed, and cannot be exchanged for money. If the invitation order is cancelled, the free song is cancelled too, unless you choose to pay for it. The offer runs until we announce its end on this website; song requests sent before then keep it.
Using our website
Please do not misuse pexlumi.com: for example by trying to get into other people’s orders or accounts, sending spam through our forms, copying our designs or demos in bulk, or interfering with how the website works. We may block access that does this.
Our responsibility to you
We make your invitation with care and skill, as described when we agree the price. If we get something wrong, we fix it free; if we cannot deliver what we agreed, you get your money back as our Refund and Returns Policy explains.
We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for mistakes in details you sent us and approved in the preview, or for problems caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as a failure of the internet, a hosting or messaging provider, power, or a natural disaster; if one of these delays your invitation, we tell you and deliver as soon as we can, or refund you if it no longer helps you. Apart from that, our total responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please tell us first: most problems are solved quickly on WhatsApp, and complaints go to our Grievance Officer as described below. If a dispute cannot be settled between us, the courts at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh will have jurisdiction. This does not stop you from approaching a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including where you live.
